Driven by a passion for collaboration, bangdesign pursues an all-embracing approach, not just design in isolation, but pushing the boundaries of the entire project and how it is represented.
The process of design may be complex, but for bangdesign the resulting product appears simple and innate, enabling the product’s values and benefits to be digested and enjoyed.
It’s about embedding an emotive value in products and environments.
The design ethos of bangdesign extends beyond the apparent borders of industrial design where the endeavour is to create lasting value beyond styling.
Both Bryan and David studied together at the University of Canberra in Australia, and significantly their collaboration on projects has been a constant for 20 years. Their work has been widely published internationally: AA Magazine (Aust), Ambiente Magazine (Germany), Ardi Magazine (Spain), Axis Magazine (Japan), Belle Magazine (Aust), Design News Magazine (Japan), Design Week Magazine (UK), InDesign Magazine (Aust), International Design Yearbook ’94 ’95 ’96 UK, Intramuros Magazine (France), Modo Magazine (Italy), POLOxygen (Aust), Vogue (Aust).
